Product of Thailand.

Red rice was first recorded during the Chinese Tang Dynasty in the 9th Century. It was renowned for its health properties, which were believed to include aiding digestion, and circulation. These days it us used in many Chinese, as well as South African dishes. A handful of red rice thrown through white rice gives it a visually appealing touch.
